I was planning a couple of days walk along the South West Coastal Path and I wanted to go as lightweight as possible. I could of taken a bivi but thought, as it was November time I could do with a little more room.
There are lots of 1-man tents out there but in the end I chose the Jack Wolfskin Gossamer from Cotswolds. It weights 1.5kgs so a great value tent at £80.
The tent comes with the inner and outer attached. The inner tent is mesh so in reducing the weight and giving a good air flow. You can also roll back the outer so you can sleep out looking at the stars.
There is enough room for you and your rucksack, either to the side of you or by your head.
A great value tent that gives you room to move around in if the weather turns bad when you’re out in the wilds.
